086 A Hunting We Won't Go

Title: A Hunting We Won't Go (A-Hunting We Won't Go on the retitle at least)
Studio: Columbia
Date: 08/23/43
Credits:
Series: Fox and Crow (Color Rhapsody)
Running time (of viewed version): 6:49
Commercial DVD Availability: -

Synopsis: Crow hunts for fox, fox puts out a bounty on crow pelts.

Comments: A change in lighting in the opening shot, with silhouettes of riders. It's kinda like an ethnic cleansing/local group conflict thing. Gun based, as is common for cartoons. I'm not sure if the Gray/Silver Fox in Pittsburgh/Boston was a reference to someone specific. Fox ends up dancing regarding Silver/Boston. Tattoo. Fox actually shoots crow. The fox as seen in the illustrated How To Shoot Foxes is not generic, but appears to be our titular fox.

This cartoon marks the 2/3ds point of the year (based on theatrical shorts and ignoring non-theatricals and features).
