Synopsis: True stories of nursery rhymes in blackout fashion.

Comments: It opens with text. How very not odd for a Columbia cartoon. Evil Lionel Barrymore professor. Book title jokes. Not sure if fat little Bo Peep is Kate Smith or not. The real stories aren't necessarily all that well formed. Mouse dates cat. Guns. Many women unattractive in various ways in this. Mussolini as Humpty Dumpty. Powder room meaning gunpowder joke. The music seems like a throwback, but more advanced that Columbia should have. The cow kills the dog at the end. With a ghost harp scene that reminds me of the weasels in Roger Rabbit.
